The Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is comprised of one Supervisor for each of the five county districts. County Supervisors are elected representatives. The Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is an appointed advisory body. Each Supervisor appoints one person to the Planning Commission, or can serve in the role themselves. It does not have decision making authority. Public Meetings
The Mississippi Open Meeting Act requires that all Board and Commission meetings are public, and further requires all agendas and meeting materials be made available to the public.
